We’ve had to make quite a few changes in the past few months to keep our customers safe in this new COVID-19 world.
We are doing this in line with government guidelines and we want you to know that we are taking our customers health seriously and making that our utmost priority.
Currently, the studio is closed until Thursday 3rd December in line with the government restrictions, however we are taking bookings for this date onwards.
We hope this section will answer any questions you may have about how we have adapted to provide you with a quality photography service while putting your safety first, but if you have any questions we haven’t covered, please get in touch.
Can I visit the studio safely?
The studio has it’s own car park and you can park up and walk directly into the studio. You will be the only customer in the studio during your appointment time. It is a large space and allows plenty of room to adhere to the 2 metre social distancing rule.
How is the studio kept clean?
We clean all surface areas and door handles and floors with anti-bacterial spray before you arrive. We are only using props and equipment which can be cleansed thoroughly. As you walk in you will see a hand sanitisation station which has been set up for everyone to use.
Will customer toilets be available during the photoshoot?
Yes, there is a customer toilet available upstairs which is cleaned regularly. We have added antibacterial handwash and paper towels for you to wash your hands.
How will you maintain social distancing?
Floor markings have been added to highlight the distance we need to keep between us, as customer and photographer, to keep us safe.
How can you help me pose for the photographs?
We usually give verbal directions about how to stand or the pose we suggest you adopt and the photographer will use a technique called ‘mirroring’ whereby they will stand in a particular pose and ask you to copy it.
For most photoshoots, ‘posing’ is not usually necessary. But for us to create the best portrait of you and your family, we need to ensure you are all relaxed. We won’t shoot the image until you look just right and you feel ok.
Will props in the studio be safe to use?
We often use stools, chairs and other items as accessories to create different poses and styles. All of these items are made of material that can be cleaned thoroughly after use. Any clothing items used will be used for a single shoot and cleaned immediately afterwards.
Can I bring different outfits and if so, is there a changing area?
The studio can be used to change outfits in private. A mirror will be available to adjust hair and make-up etc.
Will there be refreshments available?
Unfortunately we are not permitted to provide food or drink, however, the studio lights can make it feel quite warm at times, so we do ask that you bring a bottle of water to keep yourself hydrated during the shoot.
How do I choose which photographs I want to purchase?
You will have the opportunity to view and choose your photographs from our large screen in the viewing area. This enables us to maintain a 2 meter distance. We are required by law to wear a face covering during this time and will also ask customers to do so too.
When will I be able to book a portrait shoot?
We are taking booking now and you can do so by visiting our contact page. Just leave your name and telephone number and someone will give you a call to get you booked in.
